[D2D] Potential Collaboration with Crowdmuse

Just had a call with two folks from Crowdmuse which is an early stage DAO/startup working towards creating collaborative infrastructure for physical goods with onchain provenance. Their initial focus is on fashion, creating pieces of clothing with digital provenance as well as shared mechanisms for tracing design contributions. They’re looking for a frontend dev to implement designs for an upcoming product drop. Haven’t gotten the full picture yet but it looks like they’re hoping to create a reusable frontend where they can release drops, and people can purchase NFTs. They referenced After the Creator Economy. We also spoke about some evolution of protocol things, think nouns builder x juicebox. Anyhow, I’m interested to see how we could potentially collaborate on something and if there is interest from PA to get involved. This concept of a liquid working group is relevant, where various members of PA can band together and execute on opportunities that are in part created because of the energy and legitimacy that the DAO brings. Going to be following up with relevant links and more details!

feels like this has very obvious shared surface area with the Mint House initiative. tldr what if mint house is what brings the curation protocol + present material model to everyone?

not to put more on their plate but cc @mmsaki + @thekidnamedkd

Love the Crowdmuse squad! Got to know some of them at ETH Lisbon this year. A lot of really cool roadmap ideas and curious to see more project making physical work. It would be great to do something with them if there was an explicit value prop for PA. To my understanding they’ve been looking for frontend spec work solely for their tokens thus far (trying to raise this year to expand team) but maybe there is a different angle in D2D generation as a use case.

D2D meaning DAO to DAO, yeah? That’s really cool that you got to meet them in Lisbon, love to hear that.

In my eyes, the explicit value prop would be just that, developing our collaborative practices and presenting PA as an organization capable of executing on a wide variety of work!

Yeah, I was meaning D2D = DAO to DAO… is D2D a thing? lol my apologies for any unnecessary jargon creation

I’d definitely like to stay in the loop on this one if/as the conversation continues.
